The Chesapeake Bay is the reason folks have moved to our peninsula for thousands of years. From the original inhabitants of the area, our area has been a draw for people who enjoy life on the majestic shores of the Chesapeake. We are blessed to be able to live a short drive away from one of the truly great natural wonders of the world. While it’s known for the bounty of fish, crabs, and oysters, we also attract visitors who want to take a day to unwind on the beach, island, or explore the small fishing villages that dot the coastline.
I support policies that correctly balance the needs of watermen, tourists, the environment, and the legacy of family fun that I grew up with, and that I want to see my future grandchildren enjoy.
